ABOUT DIDJITS
Didjits are a high-octane punk rock band from central Illinois, active from 1981 to 1994. Fueled by speed, sarcasm, and snarling riffs, they delivered a raw blend of garage punk, hardcore, and classic rock swagger. Their chaotic, confrontational live shows and razor-sharp records - Hey Judester, Hornet Pinata, and Full Nelson Reilly - earned them an incRedibly devoted following on the Touch and Go label. Their song “Killboy Powerhead” later reached a wider audience via The Offspring’s cover on Smash.
“The recklessness and abandon that got me into punk in the first place… a teetering train about to go off the rails. I couldn’t wait to hear what was next..”
— Dexter Holland, The Offspring
“The best Rock and Roll band of the 80s.”
— Steve Albini, Shellac/Big Black
“Kick Ass Rock and Roll… I’m in love!.”
